Announces 25th Annual Silver Award of Excellence Winner
The DFW Chapter of American Women in Radio and Television (AWRT) is pleased to announce the recipient of the annual Silver Award of Excellence Life Time Achievement Award.
Karen Coffey of Camelot Communications is the 25th recipient of the highest award the DFW AWRT chapter bestows on an individual. The award is based on the following criteria:
Above reproach in regard to the hiring and promoting of women, to promoting and helping the broadcast business, deeply contributes to the community at large, has made a direct - positive impact on the DFW broadcast community and finally, solely represents a commitment to excellence and whose accomplishments are an example to others in the Media Business and Community
Karen is a 27 year veteran in the Dallas Advertising and Media Community. She is currently a Market Specialist/Account Service at Camelot Communications where she has served for the past 13 years. Previously she held senior media management positions at Publicis/Bloom Agency for 15 years. She began her career in Nashville Tennessee in the advertising agency business in 1976 before Joining the Bloom Agency in 1980.
